Bounce Back Program for Children Grade 4-8
The Bounce Back Program has been condensed to be delivered in a 6-week on-line group program for elementary aged children who may need some extra help learning to self-regulate their stress and anxiety levels. In this group we’re going to work together to learn some cognitive behaviour strategies using picture books, drawings, cartoons, and even treats! Each time we meet we’re going to learn new things that we can try together and practice throughout your week. We will work together as a team, learning new ways to feel, think, feel better and Bounce Back!
All Participants will receive a care package that includes:
-
Parent letter – introduction to the group
-
Worksheets and Markers for session activities
-
Fidgets to help with regulation

NEW! Executive Functioning Skills Group Coaching for Teens 14-18
Join us for a six-week group session experience for teens ages 14 to 18 years. It’s exciting to know that executive functions can be strengthened through practice, and in this group we will cover some of the executive functioning skills that are the most challenging. Each week will build upon the last session, leaving time for strategy building, self-monitoring skills, sharing and motivation!
Week 1: Getting Organized and Prioritizing
Learning how to keep track of our items, schedules, and tasks — like remembering school work, timelines, and planning and prioritizing what comes first, when you have a lot to do.
Week 2: Staying Focused
Improving the ability to pay attention to what matters (like an instruction, a problem.) How to manage distractions (like phones, social media).
Week 3: Following Through
Making it easier to start tasks, stick with them, and finish them, even when we’d rather be doing other things. Practising how to get things done!
Week 4: Managing Emotions
Learning strategies to help stay calm when frustrated or overwhelmed, and making thoughtful choices instead of reacting too quickly. Learning how to bring the feelings “thermometer” down!
Week 5: Solving Problems and Remaining Flexible
Building skills for thinking through problems, making plans, and adjusting with flexibility when things don’t go as expected.
Week 6: Building Independence
Ultimately, the goal is to feel more independent over time — whether that means getting to a part-time job on time, handling school timelines, or managing daily tasks and responsibilities without constant reminders from an adult. It feels great to be more independent!
